Weather Kit

Kit Overview
The Weather Kit is designed to bring joy and spark interest when your child is studying weather. The resources can be printed and given to your child to use independently or with adult support. The resources can be used at home after spending time outdoors or you can take them with you on a nature walk.

Within the Kit
Within the weather kit you will receive:

• a set of 16 weather flashcards
• a weather log book (a booklet containing a repeated page designed to record the weather)
• a weather wheel
• a weather journal (a booklet containing 14 pages with prompts to consider different weather types)
• weather worksheets (this is a document containing the individual pages of the weather journal so that you can use them as worksheets on a clipboard, should you wish)

Tips on Printing
The booklets can be printed by selecting 'double sided, flip on short side' in your printer settings. Or the pages can be printed individually and glued back to back. The booklets can be bound with staples, thread or an elastic band around the whole spine of the booklet.

The weather wheel is best printed on card. The two pieces should then be cut out and a split pin or thread used to fasten them together at the centre.

The flashcards should be printed on card and cut out. There are four cards on each page.
